Meet Felipe

Felipe Hernandez, an Iraq War veteran, combat medic and the son of an apple picker.

Born and raised in Watsonville, graduated from Watsonville High School, then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Desert Storm.  Earned a degree from UC Santa Cruz in community studies and has continued to serve our nation by serving on various boards and commissions: Watsonville City Council, Mayor, Cabrillo College Trustee, and Santa Cruz County Supervisor.
